Heritage Modern & Family Fun
These are FUN clients. They travel, collect, cook, and do not hold back when it comes to being colorful in their home. The central focus of this project was to provide a functional family space, while respecting and maintaining the heritage features. With this renovation they wanted a larger kitchen and a more connected space. They needed a flexible family space in the basement that served many purposes; a guest room, home office, craft area, TV room, music room and so much more.
The client’s unique art collection became a beautiful thread that truly reflected their style throughout the space.
Some of the existing stained glass windows, original to the home celebrating West Coast motifs, were reused and relocated.
All locally supplied furniture was selected and fabricated for a busy family of pets and children.
The kitchen truly is the heart of this home with a large built in walnut dining table for homework or family gatherings.
